On 20 January 2008 the first three episodes were broadcast in the soul preview in Italy, at the Future Film Festival. Each episode is self-contained
and only at the end you see a reconnection with previous episodes.
Plot
Dante is a demon hunter, who often disguise themselves in human form.
The main character runs a small shop called " Devil May Cry " and together they are Morrison, a man who runs the house with small chores.
Dante is facing as a first assignment, the protection of a child: Patty Lowell, which must reach the residence for Lowell receive the legacy of a father ever known.
Patty will threatened by various creatures who will try to kill her, but Dante will be able to defend it and get her safely to the residence. At the end
Patty decides to remain by the side of Dante and gratitude for the help with the housework.
Characters
Dante is half demon son of Sparda demon . Two thousand years ago, Sparda rebelled against the lord of the underworld Mundus and joined the humans to fight it. Marrying a human, Sparda had two twin sons: Dante e Vergil .
Il protagonista è dotato di un grande carisma ed impugna una grande spada con la quale decapita i suoi nemici.
Ama lo strawberry sundae e mangia sempre la pizza, inoltre uno dei suoi peggior difetti è che non restituisce mai il denaro.
Morrison è il maggiordomo di Dante, si occupa dei lavoretti di casa nonché trovare incarichi per il protagonista. Questo personaggio è abbastanza misterioso, non ci sono molte notizie a riguardo ma appare come una persona affidabile e premuroso.
Patty Lowell è la figlia illegittima del boss Lowell , dopo la morte di quest'ultimo scopre di essere l'ereditiera dell'immensa fortuna Lowell . Prima della scoperta è sempre vissuta nel orfanotrofio della città, infatti nel primo episodio si presenta con abiti di poco valore.
Accompagnerà Dante fino alla fine della serie e svolge un ruolo importante, infatti si dimostrerà l'unica in grado di rompere il sigillo di Abigail , un demone temibile imprigionato molti anni addietro.
Lady è una donna con ottime doti di combattimento, e proprio come Dante è a kill demons. This character makes its appearance in the second episode and will make Dante to follow her for a new job, the destruction of a "demon biker."

Trish has Dante's former partner, beautiful blonde and dangerous. this character as well as being very skilled, has the power to unleash lightning from his hands.
Trish makes a very dramatic entrance, "helping" Lady engaged in a battle with some demons, but this exchange Trish for an enemy and start attacking.
Trish will have fun behind Lady, hiding his true identity but in the end will reveal the roles and fight together to defend the city. (A character in the game Devil May Cry 1)
Comments
The anime is full of action, but for lovers of the game could be a great disappointment.
Personally I found the series very raw, very weak plot that is looking for a good conclusion with super bad, the demon Abigail . However, even the clash is not the most exciting, in fact it only lasts one episode (the last ep ).
The series is just a tribute to the game, so do not Expect who knows what.
