What Does Tingling Hands Mean

review Review of "Sam's Town" album of the Killers

Killers Welcome back! After the success of Hot Fuss dated 2004 here is the highly anticipated second album out of the four boys from Las Vegas Sam's Town. At first listen you can imagine that this is no album that will go into history but it is hard not to take four young born in the city more "American" in the United States that have not thrown up indigenous genres and sold as country-punk-grunge. The Killers confirm 90% of the formula that made them famous: the indie rock with references to the '80s. Good start: Sam's Town, the song that bears the title, is a beautiful piece that shows a more stressed now than Hot Fuss choirs that will characterize the entire album. Continue with the single When You Were Young, good hit, representing all the work. Among the best songs from the report also Bones, happy and fun through the use of trumpets and Read My Mind that seems right out of the 80s. The other tracks stand out less but are all of good quality: The river is wild, to listen to very loud because Brandon Flowers tries to bring out the voice, and Uncle Johnny, a little 'repetitive but fast-paced, and the velvety Why do I keep counting, which closes the album were it not for two excellent bonus tracks: Where the white boys dance, very electronic and dance and All the Pretty Faces, much more rock. Reaches the conclusion: Sam's Town is a nice album to listen to, the four of Nevada once again manage to avoid falling into platitudes without ghettoized in niche genres. Perhaps it will still be devoted to teachers of music, but if they continue to produce good work will begin to consider them as one of the best pop-rock band around.
